Exec-U-Mail Direct has been notified by the U.S. Postal Service that it will be necessary for us, as your mail house, to be able to prove that all First Class Presorted mail which is receiving postage discounts must be updated to remove undeliverable addresses. Exec-U-Mail Direct will need to demonstrate that your mailing lists have been updated within 180 days (six months) prior to your mailing date. Failure to comply could result in in these discounts being taken away in the future. Currently, the U.S. Postal Service is processing over five billion pieces of undeliverable mail at an annual cost of 1.5 billion dollars. Exec-U-Mail Direct will inform you about the different choices you have to clean up your lists before your next mailing. We will use one of the following approved methods:
Exec-U-Mail Direct will offer a monthly NCOA program where we will update the lists at $8 per thousand names with a minimum of $200 to be shared by the number of lists we submit at the same time. We think this will give you the opportunity to clean up your lists at the most reasonable price. If you decide to use one of the Ancillary Service Endorsements, call your customer service representative.
